Acorn cottage is a spacious one bedroom cottage with a sensitive application of traditional and modern facilities and equipped to a high standard and level of comfort. The large light and airy lounge/diner situated upstairs features a log burner to ensure you remain cosy and comfortable on cold winter evenings. The attractive patio which is accessed from the lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine -much needed after a day exploring the beautiful Devon countryside. Centrally located in the picture postcard village of Stokeinteignhead with the benefit of a well stocked village shop and the highly rated pub 'The Church House Inn' just a stroll away. If it's good food you like, there are many fabulous pubs & restaurants in the area, with excellent reviews. We are just a short distance from Shaldon, the Teign estuary and the South Devon coast path offering some fabulous views to sea and of the rolling Devon countryside. Within a short drive there are several beaches, the Torbay Riviera, golf courses & the stunning Dartmoor National Park-which is well worth a visit.
