Set in an acre of garden, The Hobby Room is self contained accommodation offering a modern, bright and spacious feel with high ceilings and french doors opening onto patio and gardens. A warm and welcoming place to stay for visitors to Norfolk/Suffolk. Quick access from the A11 (2 mins). Snetterton Race Circuit is only 4 miles away. Private access with ample parking behind secured gates means it's easy to come and go as you please. We're also happy to offer parking for trailers upon request. The Hobby Room is a bright and airy space, kitted out with everything guests need to feel welcome and relaxed. It has a modern open plan kitchen and living room with high ceilings, leading out onto a private patio accessed through south facing french doors. Outdoor patio furniture gives guests the option to dine alfresco (if the weather permits) with a lovely view of the garden. There's also a sofa bed in the living area, that can be made up upon request for any extra guests at an additional charge per person. The space also includes a washing machine and ironing facilities for any laundry needs guests may have. The Hobby Room has access to wi-fi, which is ideal for checking e-mails on your trip away. Please be aware that due to the countryside location of the accommodation, high speed internet might not be reachable. From the accommodation you'll see a paddock with my three handsome resident Alpacas - Maddox, Bramble and Liquorish. They are very curious animals, and if you're lucky the boys will come to a nearby gate to say hello. Search @pammiesalpacas on (Hidden by Airbnb) to get to know the boys a bit better. The garden is also yours to enjoy, so please feel free to make the most of it. Guests are welcome to explore the garden and enjoy the outside space. The benches positioned around the outside of the paddock are for your enjoyment. We've found it particularly relaxing to enjoy a nice cup of tea and watch the alpacas graze. My friendly Labrador (Rocky) and Border Collie (Jake) are always keen to greet new visitors and say hello. The Hobby Room is an animal free zone; it's only the main house and the gardens that the animals have access to. As much as they'd love to visit the space itself, we ensure that the The Hobby Room is truly yours. No check in is required at The Hobby Room and as it is self catered, so you should have everything you need. I live within the grounds and can easily be reached if you do have any questions. I want you to make the most out of your stay and am always happy to help. The Hobby Room is located between Attleborough and Great Ellingham. The location of The Hobby Room is easily accessible from the A11, making it an ideal place to stay if you're visiting Norfolk or Suffolk. The vibrant and historic city of Norwich is approximately 25 minutes away by car. Norfolk also offers many beaches and beautiful coastlines, most of which can be reached within an hour. The closest village is idyllic Great Ellingham, with a post office, store and charming local pub. Attleborough is a very close historic market town with two main supermakets and a large variety of cafés, take aways and pubs. Regular trains and buses run from Attleborough including connections to the coast, London and Cambridge. Please note that if you intend to reach The Hobby Room from Attleborough train station, the roads to reach us are unsuitable for walking along so a taxi would be required.
