Our beautiful Luxury Glamping pod holiday accommodation is equipped with all you need for a quiet & relaxing break with on site fishing set in the Heart of Rural North Lincolnshire. The Pod offers a camping experience without the hassles of packing a tent. Sleeps 2 - Bedding not provided Includes crockery, cutlery, Fridge with small freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & electric frying pan. Storage for a few clothes, hangers & coat hooks. Table & chairs. Outdoor seating & table. Pet friendly Bbq The Pod is set in the grounds of Martin and Heather’s small, friendly camping and caravan site, all visitors to the Pod have full use of the parks amenities which include~ Hot showers and pot washing area are shared with other campers. A beautiful, well sheltered, fully stocked fishing pond. A wooden lodge which overlooks the fishing pond with tea and coffee making facilities, books and magazines, with a decked area to sit and relax, which is a social area for all to use. You have full use of our caravan and camping sites facilities. Hot showers and pot washing area. Fishing for experienced anglers only. Please pre book your peg. You will also require the appropriate licences ... The shared use of a log cabin which overlooks our small and sheltered pond, a social space to relax, chat with other visitors and observe the wildlife. It has tea and coffee making facility, books and magazines. Decked area and comfy seating. Heather & Martin are on hand most of the time to answer any questions. Our reception is based at the front of site. Or You can always find us out and about around the site or in reception. Always happy to help. If you’ve forgotten anything please just say. We may be able to assist. Situated close to a village and within walking distance are two local pubs which serve food. A small village store offering newspapers and essentials. A Chinese take away that also offers delivery. Beautiful country walks and nature reserves are a short distance away. Normanby Hall & Country Park is a mile away. New for this year at normanby park is ‘Go Ape’ woodland adventure . Major supermarkets are in the main town. This is an ideal base to explore the area. 4 miles from the main town. Museum and art gallery. Most of our visitors arrive by car, however there are good taxi services available Cycle routes are pretty flat and the local village bus service is fairly regular. We are situated about a ten minute walk from a village but larger attractions would require motorised transportation. Beds are 2 single fold out chair beds which can be pushed together to form a double, more of a king size tbh Bedding & Towels are not provided. You are welcome to bring extra outdoor chairs and windbreaks. Camping stoves etc must be raised of the ground and for outdoor use only. No fire pits or camp fires Fishing is available for experienced anglers only. £5 a day and we will need to know if this facility is required as we have a few rules and terms. Pegs must be pre booked. You will require the appropriate licence to fish. These can be obtained on line via the Environmental agency web pages. Dogs must be on a lead at all times including around the pod. The use of a screw in stake would be useful or windbreaks to stop pets from wandering off or chasing our free roaming chickens and ducks. Please clean up after your pets. Poop bins and bags are dotted around the site. Any day visitors by your friends or relatives must be pre arranged prior to your arrival. There will be a charge. Overnight stays by visitors will not be permitted in the pod.
