Cosy flint cottage near Goodwood

A charming contemporary cottage in a South Downs village with a pretty garden outlook.The historic cities of Chichester and Arundel nearby . Award winning South Coast beaches a short drive, and we are very conveniently located for the renowned Goodwood Motor festivals ( 0.9 mile ) . Our traditional village pub serving delicious food a few paces away. Cosy but spacious and airy double room with comfortable king size bed. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room. Private bathroom with wonderful views. Free Wi-fi available . No Tv in room. Continental breakfast included with your stay. The guests will have access to their bedroom and private bathroom and the kitchen for breakfast. Guests are also more than welcome to sit in the garden when the weather permits. I work from home so always available to chat with the guests and help in any way I can to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. And always happy to offer recommendations for pubs and restaurants in the area as well as making suggestions on local attractions and events that may be of interest. My dog 'Micky 'is the perfect guide and companion should you wish to get out doors and explore some of our lovely local walks ! Likewise, if cycling is your mode of transport , I have a secure storage area available .There is a bus stop outside the property with regular buses to Chichester. The cottage is perfectly located for visiting the nearby historic cities of Chichester and Arundel. The award winning south coast beach of West Wittering is only a short drive away. The property is situated in the South Downs National Park and only a 10 minute walk / 2 minute drive from Goodwood House home to the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. There is a village shop (0.4 mile ) which sells newspapers , snacks and fresh food produce. Across the road from the cottage is our traditional village pub ( 100 metres ) offering fine wines and beers and serving delicious home cooked food. The pub is set on the edge of our village's highly acclaimed vineyard ( Tinwood ) which is open daily for wine tasting . We also have some lovely Country walks locally including a pleasant stroll up to the village windmill with its wonderful panoramic views across the Downs and coast to the Isle of Wight. Other places of interest within the locality include the acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre ( 5miles ) Goodwood and Fontwell Racecourses ( both 4 miles). Golf at Goodwood Hotel ( 0.9 miles ). The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum ( 4 miles ).West Dean house with its wonderful gardens and adult education short courses ( 4miles ) . Polo at Cowdray Park ( 12 miles ).Brighton can be reached by car or train within an hour. There is a bus stop right outside the cottage with a service every half an hour into Chichester and north to Petworth. Great area to explore by bike if you prefer. Train station ( 7 miles ) Please note there are no locks on the bedroom or bathroom doors or any Safe storage facilities in your room. Car parking is always available outside the front of the house. A Continental breakfast is available .
