The Red House ,Double ensuite room

We are based in an Georgian house in the Kent countryside, just outside Maidstone. West Malling village is nearby which has lovely bars and restaurants. You’ll love my place because of the comfy King bed, high ceilings and period features in our home . A continental breakfast of cereal,toast and orange juice is provided . My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. WE DO OFFER LONGER TERM LETS WHICH ARE BY NEGOTIATION DEPENDANT ON LENGTH OF STAY . A large double room with King size bed ,flat screen TV and wifi access . The bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with bath and shower . Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room . You can access our family kitchen to use a small fridge for limited food storage and use of microwave for simple meals . There is a conservatory where you are welcome to sit and eat your breakfast. I work from home most days so am available for any info or questions We are based in a small rural village called Wateringbury on the outskirts of Maidstone which is known for its stunning countryside with apple orchards and hop growing plus vineyards .The walking around here is stunning with pretty woods ,streams and ponds and amazing views over Kent .We are just a few minutes walk to Wateringbury Marina going via the mill pond and with a beautiful scenic river walk that takes you to Teston Lock.There are 3 pubs within walking distance which also serve food. There are tons of famous castles nearby including Leeds Castle, Penshurst ,Hever ,Bodiam and Winston Churchills famous home Chartwell to name a few which are all about 30-45 minutes drive . Wateringbury station is about 10 minutes walk and connects to Maidstone or Paddock Wood /Tonbridge . West Malling station is 10 mins drive away which connects to London Victoria approx 50 mins away. The no 7 bus stops very nearby which also goes to Maidstone 3 miles away or to Tonbridge and Tunbridge wells . Please ensure you advise any special diet requests . We have 2 friendly doodles (dogs) who will want to say hello but are highly trained and not allowed upstairs .
