Serena Bed and Breakfast, A small corner of paradise in the Tuscan hills

Our structure is a Bed and Breakfast and we rent rooms with breakfast. Our house is about 450 square meters surrounded by a park of about 30000 square meters. Part of the house is destined for activities of B&B. The owners live on the other side of the hause. In the large park at guests' disposal there is a swimming pool, whit hot tub. it is surrounded by olive groves to enjoy the beautiful views. Under the old oaks there is a large covered gazebo with a rustic equipped kitchen, traditional wood-burning oven for pizzas and barbecue. The B & B has got four double bedrooms furnished with style which combines tradition with the comfort of modern times. If someone rents all the rooms he will only be guests exept the family of the owners. Thanks to family management you will find cozy and intimate atmosphere in Serena Bed & Breakfast, making it one of the biggest strengths for its task. Thanks to its position on the hills, our place enjoys the fresh air on hot summer days. The Provincial territory offers many sites of cultural interests; Etruscan necropolis Comeana and Artimino, Romanic churches in Montalbano, medieval villages, magnificent villas  Medici of Poggio a Caiano, let alone the proximity to cities such as Florence, Pistoia, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. The Serena Bed & Breakfast is located at 320m above sea level, just above the medieval village of Figline. The complex is part of the protected area of the Monferrato Park, a particularly rich and varied natural environment that harmoniously mixes the mountain landscape with the hilly one. In a dominant position on the valley of Prato on the border with the forest and surrounded by olive groves, there is the Villa in neoclassical style with porch and large windows to enjoy the splendid panorama. In the vast park available to holidaymakers there is a swimming pool equipped with a whirlpool tub and a large covered gazebo with a wood-burning oven and barbecue to enjoy the relaxation and scents of the Tuscan hills. In the Serena Bed & Breakfast you can find an intimate and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the family-run management that makes it one of the main strengths for the business. The trekking enthusiast will be able to walk the numerous paths indicated by the CAI (Italian Alpine Club), some of which are part of the Great Apennine Excursion. Those who prefer horseback riding or horse-drawn carriage rides can take advantage of the riding school located a few kilometers from the structure. In the surrounding villages, the traditions and popular customs always alive, are manifested in various cultural events and good local cuisine. The summer period is particularly rich in food festivals, concerts with live music and the festivals of the various popular districts.
