Lichtblick: Sunny Apartment with a View

Apartment with a nice view from the 4th floor of a wilhelminian historic building just across a small park, 12 walking minutes from the Old City Centre, 500m from the trainstation and 300m from the Elbe River. The interior is nordic-elegant, with a small bedroom, living room with Couch (could sleep 2 more persons), small balcony, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a small corridor. The apartment is in the beautiful Elbe valley in the 1000years old city of Meissen, famous for the first european porcellain manufactory - still active and also Germany`s oldest castle build as a palace and a gothic dome. By bike of foot you can use the Elbebikepath to start your hike along the river, through the vineyards in the hills beside the valley or sightsee some old castles and other historic buildings. Also Dresden and saxon switzerland are just a trainride away. Another must see is the castle Moritzburg which was part of the last Charlie`s Angels movie. You can buy groceries in our direct neighbourhood at a supermarket or a shop for organic food. Our backyard is only accessable through our building. There you can store your bicycle, and there you can also find an ashtray for smokers. We kindly ask you to not smoke in our apartment. The nice view from the apartment is the reward for climbing the stairs to the 4th floor. As our house is under historic building protection, we are not allowed to add an elevator. Please make sure, you are fit enough :)
