Lie in bed and watch the sunrise and in the evening, the moon appear over the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Guests can enjoy use of the tennis court and relax on sun loungers by the out door heated pool set within its' own secluded walled garden.(May-Sept) The temperature is approx 80 degrees thanks to our new bio-mass heating system. Secluded outdoor terrace with BBQ, open garden for ball games and games room available with Pool table and exercise bike. Fabulous walks direct from the property and Ordnance Survey Maps provided for the more adventurous. Guests will be welcomed on arrival and shown around. Home baked muffins await guests along with a bottle of wine in the fridge and some home-made jam. The Coach House is set in rural Wiltshire with views to the Marlborough Downs and surrounded by open fields and woodland. It is within striking distance of many fantastic places to explore such as the Georgian City of Bath, the picturesque National Trust village of Lacock which was used as a film set for J K Rowling's Harry Potter, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility as well as Downtown Abbey to name but a few. Other delights include the stunning Bowood House, the garden designed by Capability Brown its Championship Golf Course, Spa and children’s adventure playground. Devizes, with the world famous Caen Hill flight of 29 locks, is our local town and through which the canal runs. Here you will find many antique and independent shops; a beautiful market square which hosts a market every Thursday and farmers market once a month on Saturday. Plenty of free parking is available at The Coach House. There are bus services approximately ten minute walk away. The local train station is Chippenham. The closest airport is Bristol and Heathrow about an hour and a half by car. Directions are provided on booking There is a French day bed in the downstairs study which can be used for extra person.
