Our 1620s Cotswold home in Chipping Norton.

Situated in the historic market town of Chipping Norton, the gateway into the Cotswolds. We offer a 16th century "entire place" ground floor apartment, complete with board games, double bedroom, kitchenette, lounge, and ensuite. Features include a log burner, wash / dryer, mini fridge, and sofa beds. You're very central, with everything seconds away (several fab pubs, walks, streams, farms, supermarkets, pharmacies, a museum, a theatre, etc.), not to mention the breathtaking green spaces. A lockable antique pine door leads you into your own lounge, and then further into the apartment you'll find a double bedroom & ensuite. Features include a kitchenette, log burner, double and single sofa (opening into beds should you have guests), large LED TV, Apple TV, board games, wash/dryer, changing room large double wardrobe, Japanese toilet, large shower, antique desk and much more. Situated on the ground floor (there are several large stone steps leading up from the street to the ground floor). Adjacent to the front door of our 16th century cotswold stoned home are several free parking bays, and alternate free parking to the rear of our home. We live right next door to the famous music studious used by many famous bands and groups, and beyond that, just 30 seconds walk away is the town hall, the centre piece of our historic market town. There you will find pubs, shops, restaurants and more. Opposite our home you'll find ancient tree lined avenues, lanes leading into the countryside, with streams, waterfalls, and walks up into the hills that overlook the town. Still on foot, if you venture further afield you'll find the old tweed mills, ancient stones and much more. If you jump in a car there are dozens of places to visit such as other market towns, safari parks and much more. We will provide a key when you arrive. Chipping Norton is a Cotswold stone built town with just over 6,000 residents. There are boutique shops, pubs and restaurants in the heart of town, which are all just a few steps away. It is common place to see tractors come through the town, sheep escaping and local antics. The neighbours are friends and you'll often be greeted with a "morning" from residents as they pass by. Please respect the people who live next to us and the environment. Its unlikely you'll need your car as everything is right on our doorstep, the town, shops, restaurants, walks into the fields and much more. If you do, the Rollright stones, safari parks and other market towns are just minutes outside of town. We've parking right outside the front door or those free spaces are taken there is free parking behind our home with spaces for 200 cars. We will supply a small welcome basket containing cereals, milk, etc. to help with the initial stay but then it will be up to our guests to kindly provide for themselves for the rest of their permanence. For stays beyond a week we will need complete access to clean the apartment, change sheets, bedding, towels and hoover, dust and wipe surfaces. A deep clean will only be conducted after check out.
