A quaint, small, self catering Cotswold Cottage in the heart of Lechlade village-situated in the middle of ‘Burford Street’. It’s a stones throw away from the local shops, cafes, pubs and beautiful public walks along the River Thames. Having been recently refurbished it makes for a modern yet cosy stay, great for couples or anyone wanting to explore the Cotswolds. The cottage has been newly refurbished and is fully equipped to offer a comfortable, clean stay. Ideally it’s suited to two guests since space is minimal but makes the evenings feel warm and cosy, especially when you light the fire. There is downstairs shower room (towels/bath mat provided), connecting through to the quaint galley kitchen, leading to the utility room (washing machine & tumble dryer provided) and the living room. The living room is small but is suitable enough for a homely night in to watch TV, and wifi is provided. The utility room has steep stairs (so not recommended to anyone with mobility problems) leading to the rather large king sized bedroom (linen provided) which has plenty of space to make yourself comfortable. Guest have access to the whole cottage, which includes a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Following the guests arrival there is no interaction, there is a key in the key safe at the property. Unless the guests would like advice on things to do and places to go to and then I would be more than happy to help! Lechalde is a beautiful little town, on the Thames river. It has an abundance of quaint antiques shops, as well as local amenities, and pubs and restaurants. Perfect for beautiful long walks along the river and exploring the town. Getting around: There are buses to Cirencester and surrounding villages. The cottage is located on the main high street of the village so there is tendency for it to be a little noisy. If you are a light sleeper, perhaps bring your earplugs. There is street parking available directly outside the property. Parking directly outside is limited to 2hrs Monday - Saturday 8am-6pm. Minimum number of 3 nights stay.
