A recently renovated double bedroom in an annex connected to an 18th Century cottage located in the quiet village of Bladon. The bedroom has a king size bed and its own modern shower room. A Nespresso machine and tea making facilities are also included in the room with access to a microwave and a fridge. The bedroom benefits from its own private entrance which is separate to the rest of the house. You have a bedroom, a shower room and small utility room solely for your individual use. Bedding used is 100% cotton, with feather pillows and a hypoallergenic duvet I will ensure I am there to welcome you and help with any questions you may have about the room or the local area. . Utility room and private shower room. Perfect location if you want to visit Oxford one day and the Cotswolds the next. Soho Farmhouse is 25 mins drive away. I am always available whilst you are staying here. Bladon is a charming village on the edge of the Cotswolds, 10 miles north of Oxford. Bladon is perhaps most famous for being the village in which Sir Winston Churchill is buried. His grave is a very pleasant 5 minute walk through the village from our house. The grounds of Blenheim Palace are a few minutes further through which you can access the palace and all it's parkland (to access the Palace and it’s private grounds you will need to purchase tickets). The beautiful town of Woodstock is close by (a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk through Blenheim Park) with an abundance of pubs, restaurants and local shops. There is a bus service to Oxford (the bus stop is about 20 minute walk away). There is also a main line station to London (Hanborough) which is 1.4 miles away. An alternative service to London is from the Oxford Parkway railway station which is a 15 minute drive from our house (outside of rush hour) where you can get to London Marylebone in under an hour. The Oxford Park and Ride services are also a 15 minute drive away and are a perfect, hassle free way to get in to Oxford and explore! We have a very friendly, if slightly energetic (!) young Spaniel. We live in a very old part of the village on a lane so parking may not be directly outside the house.
