Double Room #3 - 16th Century Mill - Hotel

Located in the heart of a wooded park on the banks of the Charentonne river, Le Moulin Fouret is a 16th century building completely renovated, turned into a Boutique Hotel*** and restaurant. Composed of 6 rooms overlooking the park, it is a haven of peace, 5 minutes from downtown Bernay. The double bedroom "Baroque" is a 15 sqm room with its private bathroom equipped with an italian walk-in shower cabin, a handbasin, a heated towel rail and a toilet. The bedroom is fully furnished with a standart double size bed (140cm), quality bedding, cable TV and Internet, as well as a resting corner with an armchair and console. Double glazed window, view on the greenery and river. A kettle is available in the room (tea and coffee included). A daily cleaning service is provided, bed linen and towels changed on request. Our guests will have full access the 2,5 acres wooded and flowery park for a quiet moment by the river. The ducks of the mill, the farmyard as well as the chef's vegetable garden can be seen. The hotel's restaurant, open every day, offers modern and quality cuisine (BIB Gourmand 2020 from the Michelin Guide) prepared by Chef Cedric Auger. Seasonal menu, exclusively fresh and locally sourced products. A breakfast service is available (extra charged), in your room when possible, or in the restaurant area. Made from fresh and homemade products (except pastries), on an zero-waste principle. Guests will be welcomed on site upon arrival by the hosts. During their stay, they will enjoy free access to their room and hotel from the main entrance (secured door/code). The hosts Cedric & Maxime will be available for all your requests, and will do their best ensure that you have a most comfortable stay. Many cultural and historical places to visit will complete your stay, such as the Abbey of Bernay, The Basilica of Notre Dame de la Couture, The medieval domain of Harcourt, the Château du Blanc Buisson, the Museum of Fine Arts of Bernay... Also discover the picturesque village of Bec Hellouin (labelled "the most beautiful village in France"), its monastery and its permaculture/organic farm. You can also enjoy the proximity of the sea by visiting the Normandy west coasts located 70km away (Deauvilles, Trouvilles, Honfleur...). The Moulin Fouret is located 2.5km from the Bernay train station, making access very easy and located close to all amenities (grocery stores, shopping avenue, press &tobacco shop and bars/cafés ...). Bernay located 150km west of Paris, direct train access.
