Beautiful luxury summerhouse located only in 40 minutes drive from Iceland capital city Reykjavik, nothing but peace and quiet and beautiful view. Guests are welcome to walk wherever they please, in the woods or by the river Sogid, a big river with plenty of fish and bird life. There are plenty of activities. Hill walking, horse riding, golf and plenty of sights nearby. The south of Iceland is famous for sightseeing and spectacular mountains and coastal sceneries. Staying in the summerhouse will save time if you are going to take some sightseeing in the south area of Iceland which is the main attraction on the island. The summerhouse is located in the The Golden Circle, which the most popular tourist route in Iceland, which includes three primary stops, the national park Þingvellir (20min), the waterfall Gullfoss (45min) and the geothermal active valley of Haukadalur with the geysers Geysir and Strokkur (30min) and Kerið volcano crater (15 min). There are gourmet restaurants within easy reach, one in a walking distance and several in the nearest area. There are three bedrooms in the house- the main master bedroom - a bedroom with bunkbed- lower is a queen size and the top bed is a single bed, then we have the second master bedroom with queen size bed. There is a barbecue grill outside, trampoline for the children and a cozy hot tub. You have to have a car to be able to stay in the house and enjoy all that the area has to offer.
