The Stables, is set in 80 acres of glorious English countryside, one mile east of Ashdown Forest in the High Weald area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Originally a Victorian farm, the stables has been beautifully converted to offer home from home. The pretty country garden looks out across the wildflower meadows to the beautiful private woods, that is accessible to visitors. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). The Stables is very cosy with a log burning stove , perfect for relaxing in front of after a lovely walk.We can offer food boxes waiting when you arrive and have a local beautician who an offer treatments . We have tried to cater for all your needs while staying with us. We have outdoor games, football, badminton, croquet and are able to provide a highchair and travel cot We are happy for you to use all the space , the fields and the woods. We live in the main house , the stables are within the land and have their own secure enclosed private garden. There is a pond on the farm. We have dogs but they are very friendly and we are respectful that not everyone likes dogs. Please let us know if you have any concerns. We live in the house and are available when needed. We are also happy to give recommendations on places to visit and local pubs and restaurants. We are on the outskirts of Ashdown forest the home of Winnie the pooh. The forest has lots of lovely walks as well as a Winnie the pooh tearoom, shop and small museum. We are a perfect position to visit Brighton and the south coast as well as being near the border to Kent. There are lots of things to do including gardens, farms, zoo , tree climbing , walks and lovely pubs and restaurants near by There is a bus stop on the main road with buses to Brighton and Tunbridge Wells. The local train station has trains to and from London We are happy for you to use all the space , the fields and the woods. We live in the main house opposite the stables. The Stables have there own private garden which is very secluded and not overlooked. The farm does have a pond. In the stables the main bedroom (the old stable ) is on the ground floor with the other bedroom being upstairs accessed from the mezzanine. We have dogs but they are very friendly and we are respectful that not everyone likes dogs. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
