Skärva Herrgård & World Heritage City Karlskrona

Stay at a magical 200 year old mansion right next to the Baltic Sea, which today is a Seminar, Event- and Guesthouse and is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve. Skärva Herrgård, built in 1786 and once Admiral Chapman’s summer residence belonging to the World Heritage Site, is located 7 km outside of Karlskrona. The Herrgård has in total 25 beds in 13 rooms. With two separate areas with kitchen, living rooms and shared bathrooms, it is perfect for groups that can rent the house or a part of it exclusively. Different seminar rooms offer space for meetings and conferences for 2 – 50 people. Here at Airbnb we rent our rooms, not the whole house. So if you pay for 2 people, this is usually a double room. If you want 2 single rooms, please let us know. If you are more than 6 people it is possible to rent the whole Annex house next to the Herrgård exclusively. All rooms have shared bathrooms. We have in total 3 bathrooms with toilet and one extra toilet for our guests. Included in the price are bedsheets and towels. Breakfast is not included. Minimum stay is 2 nights! Our guests can wander through the wide English Park, go for a hike in the marvellous nature reserve, a bike tour on our mountain-bikes or discover the archipelago by water on our kajaks. Afterwards it is nice to relax in the sauna and take a swim from the historic bath house. Directions to the Skärva farm from Karlskrona By bike: Take the bicycle path towards Ronneby until you reach the sign on your left for Skärva. Follow this road a short way until you reach the farm. Overall distance is around 10 km. By bus: Take the number 5 bus to Nättraby and get off at the Skärva stop. The Skärva farm is then a short 1 km walk away. By car: Take the E22 towards Ronneby. Once you have passed a rather beautiful bridge you will see is a sign to turn right towards Skärva. Simply follow the brown signs leading to Skärva. - Canoe rental - It is possible to visit the beautiful archipelago by our sailing katamaran.
