Stunning and recently renovated Georgian Grange, our home was originally a Grange for Byland Abbey. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, 4 miles from Thirsk, famous for James Herriott and the Yorkshire Vet. Great cosy pubs nearby and only 6 miles from Michelin starred Black Swan, Oldstead. Wonderful walks & rides on the doorstep near North Yorkshire Moors, on Sustrans Cycle Route 65 & the Cleveland Way. Stabling available for horses and a kennel for dogs. Quiet and pretty farm location surrounded by lovely hills and a stunning Breakfast room bathed in sunlight. Three very comfortable bedrooms within our home and log fire in the sitting room. Ample private parking. Lots of gorgeous walks. Stables and grazing available upon request - horses welcome to stay. Use of private Sitting room and Breakfast room. No smoking allowed at this property. Paul and I look forward to welcoming you to our home. We will cook you a delicious breakfast, including eggs from our own very free range hens, and help with any enquires about the nearby attractions. Picnics and Dinner available with prior arrangement. A Yorkshire welcome assured !! Thirsk is a market town with essential shops, church, racecourse and train station on a direct line to London. The home of James Herriot. Market days are Saturdays and Mondays. Helmsley and Ripon with its Cathedral are located 20 mins East and West. Rievaulx, Byland and Fountains Abbey are local and York and Harrogate are 45 mins away. Whitby and all its history is an hour. Thirsk Train station is on the direct Grand Central line to London taking only 2 hours 20. Manchester Airport can also be accessed. York station is only one stop south and from there you can connect with trains all over England. Leeds and Newcastle Airports are about an hour away. We do have lovely socialable dogs which are not allowed upstairs, but just to note if you suffer from any allergies. Please note, our home does have several steps internally. We can provide secure, locked storage for bicycles
