Adults only special secluded place for 2 on one of our lake banks, surrounded by wildlife of all kinds & adjacent to our sheep, cows & calves. Super quiet and with all mod cons. Well behaved pets welcome (extra fee). Lovely views to Southdowns. Walks round the woods & lakes + footpaths to local villages/pubs. Own private shower/toilet a short walk. Fishing available. Our huts have been fitted out to provide a comfortable space to unwind and relax in private. They may be small but have all mod cons albeit in small sizes!! Either stay here for a total chill out, or use it as a base for exploring the local East Sussex area, inc Lewes, Ringmer, Cuckmere Valley, Eastbourne, Hastings, Brighton, Ashdown Forest, SouthDowns National Park, Alfriston, Battle. Grounds total 30+ acres available to wander round, (except areas with livestock in). Dogs on leads except for designated areas which will be pointed out on arrival. Please clear up after them. House is about 50 metres away, please ask/phone/eml if anything is required or something not working properly. There is a booklet in the hut with information about the area, restaurants, pubs, attractions etc. Can also give you a lift to/from the train station or bus stop or to the local pub of your choice if required, and you can order a taxi back. Peaceful farm/lake/woodland areas, with glorious views, and surrounded by wildlife of all kinds. Great fishing with many varieties available over 2 lakes. Must have current license. Wild swimming in one lake (NB. at your own risk!). . Set in 32 acres and 200 mtrs off the main road, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and stunning views to the South Downs. Meander through various ancient woodland shaws and see herons, buzzards, hawks, partridge, pheasant, rabbits, wild ducks, geese, coots, moorhens and kingfishers + many garden birds such as robins, wagtails, goldfinches, tits etc. Our suckler cows (sometimes with calves at foot) and a few sheep are in some of the fields. Please note they are fenced off, no access allowed. Dogs can run free in our empty fields which will be pointed out to you on arrival. Farm shop in Five Chimneys Lane (on way to Buxted) + village shop in Buxted High St. Main shopping Crowborough, Heathfield, Uckfield, Tunbridge Wells. Nearest mainline stations are Crowborough or Buxted 4 miles. Tunbridge Wells 10 miles. Buses to Crowborough from Tunbridge Wells or Brighton. Collection/drop off by arrangement £5 each way.. Washing machine and drying line plus larger fridge/freezer available nearby in utility hut if required. Also shower, toilet and kitchen area (disabled friendly)for use after swimming/fishing etc.
