Apartment on the ground floor of a seventeenth century villa overlooking the beautiful Italian garden. The historic Lombard "cotto" tiles and the coffered ceilings give a warm feeling to the rooms. There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a very comfortable sofa bed. The small kitchen is just off the living space, which has a sofa and a dining table. The villa is also famous because it belonged Maria Gaetana Agnesi, an exceptional female mathematician from the seventeenth century. Her sister was also a famous music composer.
