The Studio, near Stokesley

Our self-contained studio apartment has a shower room, store room, well equipped kitchen, superking bed ( Available as 2x3ft. singles if required), a terrace & garden overlooking open countryside with uninterrupted views of the Cleveland Hills & Captain Cook's Monument. It is a 3 min drive/15min walk to the bustling town of Stokesley where there are restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, supermarkets, take-aways, a weekly Friday market and a popular Farmers' Market on the 1st Saturday of the month. The studio has its own entrance & is next to our house & you are welcome to make the most of the garden. Use of the hosts' utility area for laundry facilities Secure cycle storage Ample off road parking The hosts are available either in person or via mobile throughout your stay & can offer advice on local walks & places to visit. Foreign visitors are welcome- we speak fluent French & can get by in German & Spanish . Cyclists & walkers are also very welcome & we can offer pick up & drop off if you are doing the Coast to Coast or Cleveland Way . The picturesque village of Great Ayton- boyhood home of Captain James Cook is a 10 minute drive away,the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors are on the doorstep,the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales are 40 minutes away by car,the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline including the jewels of Whitby,Staithes,Saltburn & Robin Hoods Bay are 20-30 minutes drive.The historic cities of York & Durham - an hour away.
