A delightful south facing secluded 19th century 2 bedroom cottage in Great Ayton through an archway with private parking. Featuring an antique brass 4 poster double bed Self check in with lock safe & Access to whole house and front and back garden We are only 2 minutes away if needed, otherwise we allow guest to enjoy Hideaway Cottage. Great Ayton is a beautiful little village set just below Cleveland Hills. If you set off from Hideaway to the village it's a 5mins walk to the High Green you will pass Sam's Bakers, there you will get the smell of fresh bread and cakes, If you are tempted you could gather a picnic and go and sit by the river on the low green and watch the world go by or join in with families paddling and children with fishing nets in the river. Maybe cycling is your Past-time then Cycle in the country lanes where the Tanfield boys (who won Silver & Gold in the Olympics 2018) train. If you like head up to the Cleveland Hills where there's plenty of walks to be had on the moors and see the most beautiful scenery. Also if you have time head to the North Coast and enjoy the beaches, only 25 mins away and you are transported from moor to coast. Great Ayton has a train station with links to Whitby and other beautiful villages. Private parking next to Cottage Only 30 mins by train(sometimes Steam train) from Great Ayton station to Whitby over the beautiful North Yorkshire moors.
