Loddon Guest House, Norfolk Broads

Self check in via a key box. Private annexe with own private front entrance door (no back garden access). This small but functional accommodation ideally suits a couple but could also accommodate a child or a small adult in the under stairs bed in the lounge. The accommodation is self contained and ideal as a base for a short stay whether you are visiting family, attending a party or event or just simply wanting to explore the beautiful county of Norfolk. please note, there is no TV. You’ll have the small, cosy, guest annexe to yourself which is a totally separate space with its own front door. I live next door. It is a comfortable and private, two floor annexe. The accommodation consists of a small kitchenette with a table to sit and eat. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Please note there is no cooker. The heating is not on a separate control to my property. Heating will be on during winter or whenever it is cold. There are two electric heaters, one for downstairs and one for upstairs. Please DO NOT LEAVE THESE ON WHEN YOU GO OUT. Do not cover these heaters and if you have children please do not let them tamper with these heaters, There is a tiny lounge with an under stairs bed for a third (small) person/child to sleep. I AM GOING TO REITERATE HERE THAT A THIRD PERSON WOULD HAVE TO BE UNDER 5 FOOT 5 INCHES. Please note there is no TV here. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with a toilet and separate shower room which has a higher than usual step to access so just be aware of this. There is a connecting door to my house via the kitchette which is locked, it is there for cleaning purposes after your stay. You may be able to hear normal household noises from my house. We are a quiet family but you may on occasion hear our TV, just so you are aware. No pets. Not suitable for toddlers. No children under 6 please. Access only to the annexe via front door. Please note, there is no back garden access. I can make sure there is space on my driveway if needed but there are no parking restrictions on the road. I work full time but my phone number is in the guest folder at the accommodation, so text me and I will respond as soon as I am able. Loddon is a Town 12 miles southeast of Norwich on the River Chet, a tributary of the River Yare within The Broads in Norfolk, England. The guest is on a housing estate, built on the old quarry, just a 10 walk to the old village. Nestled between the meandering Waveney Valley, the bustling City of Norwich and the magical waterland of the Broads, Loddon is one of South Norfolk’s finest small market towns. Its rich past is reflected in the handsome Georgian and Victorian architecture dotted throughout the town. In the 15th century, James Hobart, Henry VII’s Attorney General, built Hales Hall and provided Loddon with a new church, Holy Trinity, which still stands as a formidable figure captivating the Loddon skyline. There is a large car park in Loddon which is rarely full but ideally situated to explore the village. It offers 2 hours free parking (you have to display a ticket from the machine). There is a bus stop at the end of the road where you can take a bus into Norwich which costs about £5 for a return trip. These buses run approx every 15 minutes and takes you into the centre of the City (bus station). As mentioned but worth another mention. No garden access. Higher than normal step into shower room but if you are capable of climbing stairs this won’t be a problem. There is a sloped ceiling at one end of bedroom, mind your head if you need to open the window in this area. The cupboard is for my use. No TV. No cooker. At top of stairs there is a different in floor level, please be aware of this when coming down the stairs.
