Terrace Cottage near Skipton and Yorkshire Dales

Cowling is a small village in the hills on the Yorkshire Lancashire border. There is a lovely pub serving real ale & home cooked food, a village store, a restaurant, a pizza take away, a chip shop & a childrens outdoor activity centre. Suitable for all, our cosy home is situated on the edge of the moor with a private garden and spectacular views. We are close to the lovey market town of Skipton, the Pennine Way, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland AONB. No access to the attic room Crosshills is the nearest town with a small co-op and most other local amenities. Colne or Skipton are larger towns with supermarkets, swimming pool and cinemas etc. There are lovely parks for children at Glusburn and Sutton-In-Craven. Good level walks on the Leeds Liverpool canal. Great terrain for cycling if you enjoy the challenge of steep hills! The road is sometimes narrowed due to on street parking, you may have to reverse down the street (about 30m) to get out. Alternative on street parking is within close walking distance.
