Beachside holiday home

Right by the beach on a quiet holiday park. Swim in the sea then walk back in your towel to every home comfort! Great Views (see the liners go out!) Great countryside, yet close to every major South Coast resort. A bright, modern holiday home! A unique property where you can sit back and watch the comings and goings on the busy Solent and across to the Isle of Wight. The view at night is breathtaking when the twinkling lights across the water turn everywhere into Fairyland - so remember to keep the curtains open! Private lawn to the front and rear of the property, and no through traffic. Walk part of the Solent Way along the beach - no need to get into your car first! Or stay on site and enjoy a swim in the sea or the heated on site swimming pool.(you need a pass for this pool for which there is a daily charge available from Reception). We and our children love to swim in the sea when the tide is in as it is right on our doorstep, but it is not for the faint hearted - the beach has large boulders rather than sand or pebbles - but with old shoes on to protect your feet it is fabulous and as clean and safe as anywhere else. We have every home comfort. A separate shower room with toilet and a bathroom with toilet. There is a modern kitchen area with dining table. There is television and wi fi. Parking is easy, in our own drive way. You really need a car if you want to go anywhere, although there is a small shop on the site and an attractive Clubhouse where you can dine or just enjoy a drink with both locals and holidaymakers. A day trip to the Isle of Wight is easy from here on one of the many ferries that run all the time either from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington. Either leave the car at the Port and go as a foot passenger, or take the car with you to explore the island fully. no stairs and space for two cars outside in the drive We will contact you before you arrive and give you any information you need. The chalet will be all ready for you and we will text a key safe code which will be unique to you. You can then get in at a time that suits you best - just let me know if you need to get in earlier than the designated 2 pm check in as more often than not this won't be a problem. The chalet is tucked away on the beach at the end of a long lane, with speed humps, so it's always worth having my directions to hand - and you do need to arrive by car! but I am only ever a phone call away and can easily talk you through anything. This is a quiet and very friendly holiday park. Some people live here permanently and others are second home owners. The place revolves around sailing, and if you have your own boat, there is place to keep it behind our chalet, and there is a slipway allowing you access to anywhere on the Solent. Cowes on the Isle of Wight is just 5 miles across the water, or you can head west towards Southampton Water and the docks, or east towards Portsmouth harbour and historic shipyard.
