Set in the beautiful grounds of Foulden Watermill, The ‘Wagtails’ offers spacious, self contained and fully refurbished accommodation. The secluded location is home to many types of wildlife including kingfishers, moorhens, wagtails, numerous deer and if you’re lucky you might spot the resident otter in the mill pond. The grounds are fully enclosed with electric gated access and dedicated parking. An idyllic location for wildlife lovers and well placed to visit many of Norfolk’s attractions. The ‘Wagtails’ is a very spacious, modern and contemporary home from home, tastefully decorated and all on one level. There is a dedicated and completely separate entrance which leads into the large and comfortable lounge. Plenty of seating with 2 leather sofas and a leather recliner with footstall, 40” 4K smart TV and WiFi throughout the whole property make relaxing very easy. Double doors opening out onto the south west terrace which is a real sun trap. Very large open plan kitchen diner with bespoke pine furniture. Extending dining table comfortably seats six and the full height pine dresser houses extra glassware, games, books and a huge selection of DVDs. Fully fitted modern kitchen with built in appliances; dishwasher, oven/grill, hob. Utility room with freezer and washing machine. Two double bedrooms. Master with en suite shower room. Top to bottom refurb completed October 2020. Guests will have their own remote control for the entrance gates and there is adequate parking. Outside terrace for seating etc at rear. Dedicated patio with secluded seating area. We live in the adjacent watermill and will meet & greet on arrival. Available to help or assist with any issues during your stay. Ideally located for Bird Watchers; RSPB Lakenheath Fen Nature Reserve, Titchwell Marsh and Snettisham as well as Lynford Arboretum. Very close to Thetford forest and Centre Parcs, Elveden. Ely, Newmarket and the Norfolk Broads all within under an hours drive. 45 minutes to north Norfolk beaches. Nearest amenities including Pub are at Mundford which is 8 minutes drive away. Larger towns of Brandon, Swaffham and Thetford all within 15-20 minutes offering all usual superstores etc.
