Hand sanitiser and cleaning products are provided for your further use. This lovely high-ceilinged flat has been doubling as an artists' studio. Space is maximised by Berlin-style wooden mezzanines served by ladders. Please note: little ones aged two and under are free, i.e. the extra charge for 3+ persons does not apply. The smaller room has a double futon upstairs and a double futon downstairs, also a desk with large monitor, keyboard and mouse if you want to plug these in to your computer (each item has USB plug) - plus there are hammock chairs that you can remove and/or hang in the front room too. The big front room has a double futon on the mezzanine, a single sofa bed beneath it, and a pouffe that flips out as a further single mattress. To watch a quirky 5-minute movie showing artists at work in this apartment, do a search on: Vimeo 'Suki's Life Room'. It's a small apartment and nothing is off-limits. The apartment's hallway has three doors: one to the smaller room (double futon upstairs, double futon downstairs, CD player, clothes hanging space, work station), one to the bathroom (with shower over bath), and one to the L-shaped living-room/kitchen/studio at the front of the apartment (which has a double futon upstairs, single sofa-bed and a flip-out mattress downstairs). The price includes fruit/bread/muesli for your first breakfast, plus help yourself to drinks at any time. Bring food to prepare meals (24 hour Tesco 10 mins walk, Aldi 8 mins walk, 7-11pm Sainsburys 5 mins walk). Fab curry houses everywhere, and 24-hour Macdonalds 5 mins along the street. Welcome to my home! I aim to make sure you're comfortable and have all the info you need for your visit. Usually I'll be there myself to let you in and show you around. If not, there is a full information pack about how things work, and local transport and tourism. International! Bradford is studenty, arty, edgy, interesting and above all FRIENDLY. Small enough to walk everywhere. International food shops and restaurants, good pubs, good live music, CHEAP SHOPPING, easy public transport access both to the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales and to Leeds centre (20 mins). London direct train 2 hours 30 mins. Many cafes walking distance, eg in Little Germany, the Broadway Centre, and the city centre which is on your doorstep. West Yorkshire Metro is a fantastic reasonably-priced bus-train network. Cycle lanes everywhere ( I provide a map). The two rail stations are 30 secs and 8 mins walk from my door. London day-trips by train/coach possible (rtn by National Express coach from £18 if booked online). London direct train 150 mins. As mentioned, infants aged 2 and under are free of charge. My flat is perfect for holidaying/working in the city centre without a car, but if you need to park, I have one resident’s parking permit for the spaces in our shared yard (to the right of our building) against the wall of our building. If full, parking on the street is free overnight, but from 8:00-18:00 Mon-Sat it costs 1 pound 70p for MAXIMUM 2 hours, no return (though free on Sundays and Bank Holidays). Alternatively, there are two very nearby Euro-Car Parks (within 100 metres of flat, along Valley Rd), £2.50 per 12 hours, £4 per 24 hours. SEE MY PHOTOS FOR THEIR PRICE NOTICE. Or for a strict max of three hours, the retail park car-park is a minute's walk from my door - but don't get caught out, they do fine you. Honestly all my visitors so far have managed to park for free in the yard. I'm so glad that as a bike-rider I don't have this small hassle (-:
