Sisi-Schloss Rudolfsvilla once was a summer residence of Empress Sisi, Emperor Franz Joseph and their children. In 1862 after almost 2 years abroad instead of going to Vienna, Sisi came directly here to meet her husband and children. EH Franz Ferdinand, later shot in Sarajevo, spent a few summers here as a toddler. As part of the Rudolfsbad spa, Sisi-Schloss was home to the crème de la crème of society, including Arthur Schnitzler, Alma Mahler, and Theodor Herzl, who married here. At Sisi-Schloss Rudolfsvilla you can breathe great history as well as purest mountain air here and enjoy cool evenings on hot summer days. The lovingly furnished ambience ensures pure relaxation. Hiking trails right outside the front door, a large garden and privacy make our chateau the ideal place for digital detox enthusiasts. Your flat offers you a living room with kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Both bed linen, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen are part of the package. Children and dogs are welcome! You have exclusive access to your flat via a guest-only staircase to the first floor. You can contact me anytime by phone if you need anything. Quiet location in the midst of nature, picturesque park and large orchard. Adorable bakery at 5 minutes walk, supermarkets 2 minutes by car or ten on foot. Easy access by train, by bus, and by car. Bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the accommodation. Please note that there is no regular taxi service at Payerbach station. If you are planning on using a taxi, make sure to reserve one in advance. To allow our guests to fully enjoy the idyllic location, we all park in the public car park about 200 m away at the church.
