Family Apartment: Jizerske hory

We are delighted to offer you a stay in our apartment in quiet area of Jizera mountains, directly bellow the Tanvaldský Špičák. The place is perfect for active winter as well as summer vacation but also for relaxing and a great place to walk the mountains. The apartment is more than suitable for a comfortable stay of family of four, including everything you need for small children. More info on: @JizerkyApartman on F.Book account or on request (we will send you PDF with more info). The apartment is situated on a quit place up on hilll overlloking the city. Nearest ski areal is 5 mins away by car. The place also offers a lot of opportunities for mountain biking and hiking. More information (including links to websites describing the places) is available on request. Good restaurants can be recomended as well as places to see. The appartment is on the first floor. The entire house has a security monitoring and guests will get own codes. The access to the appartment is through quite a steep climb, so in winter, it is preferred to go around (details available on request / before arrival). We live in Prague and currently we prepare the appartment for our guests ourselves. So, for us it is preffered to agree on timing to hand-over the keys and explain everything (we will of course meet you in the house at ageed time). Should there be any problem, you can reach us via phone and we can be there within 2 hours. Hospital and pharmacies: Hospittal address: Nemocniční (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Tanvald, approx 10 min by car, the hospital includes emergency. Pharmacies can be found also in Tanvald (Poštovní 83, Krkonošská 227), you can reach both also by car in 10 minutes max. The dentist is in Poštovní (č. p. 284) . Shopping: For bigger „shopping“ we recommend Tanvald (cca 5 minutes by car), where you can find the following supermarkets: Lidl, Albert a Billa. There is a best bakery in the region just 2 kilometers from the apartment on street Hlavní number 726. Restaurants: We unfortunately cannot recommend any restaurants near the apartment from our own experience:(. For a good food it is worth-wile going to Jablonec nad Nisou, where we can recommend: - Steak House: SteakPub u Medvěda, - Burger: Qburger Bar, - Pizza: Penzion Půlměsíc. The apartment has its own garage that can be used by our guests. The garage is big enough to store a car together with bikes and skis. Also the garage has security monitoring installed. The house is quite remarkable and the view on the city is astonishing. It provides quite place for a good vacation. For kids the hill, where they can sledge is just few meters away and is visible from the apartment's window. Tourism: Apartment is situated directly on a tourist route (see map here), this route will lead you directly to the protected area of Jizera Mountains, across the peak of Tandvaldský Špičák to Albrechtice, Josefův Důl, Nové město pod Smrkem and further to Harachov and further to Poland. Winter sport possibilities: Nearest ski resort is just on the other side of Tanvaldský špičák, see here), the ski resort is 5 - 10 minutes of drive by car away. Skibus has a stop on the main street bellow the apartment (approx 100 meters down the hill). There are many cross country skiing routes nearby. Usage of those is dependent on the snow conditions. You can get on the main cross country ski route Jizerská magistrála (entry-poin Albrechtice – Mariánská hora). When there is enough snow, you can use the hill directly next to the apartment for sledging. Summer and all-year long sport possibilities: Except for the already mentioned possibilities of mountain walking the place is a great starting point for mountain biking as well. Near the apartment is an old sledging track with lots of jumps for enduro / park enthusiasts. Except for this option all the ski resorts (see above) offer the possibility of enduro riding as well. Near the apartment is also one of the best single-track resorts in Czech republic Single Track pod Smrkem. You can get to Single Track on your bike (25 km to get on Hubertka) or by car (approx 50 minutes). Fokids we recommend the visit of wooded toy factory Detoa, which is very nearby the apartment. During the visit you can buy many present and also see how the most famous Czech toys are being constructed, including the little mole of Zdeněk Miler. In Liberec you can find a fun park (Babylon) with big Aquapark, which is also worth visiting). In Liberec you can also find IQ Landia and planetarium, DinoPark a zoo. Our kids love all of those. In Jablonec nad Nisou you can visit the museum of Czech jewelry.
