Big ecological room (and SAUNA) by the Oder River

Large comfortable room (with bathroom) with VIEW ON THE ODER. Ecological house (wood, straw, earth) built by us, a French family. The calm and proximity to WILD NATURE will allow you to rest and recharge your batteries. On the border between Germany and Poland, our place is a CULTURAL CROSSROADS rich in history ... In our BREAKFASTS (optional, not included in the price), you can taste, among other things, flavors from our garden and France... At your disposal: The outdoor terraces overlooking the forest and on the banks of the Oder, the large glazed dining room and the winter garden, as well as 6 ha of garden (forest, orchard, meadows). In the bedroom is a private shower and sink. A kitchen tent (between April and October) next to the house allows you to cook and make barbecues. There are dishes available, a sink for the dishes, a gas stove, a fridge. The toilets are in the hallway, shared with other travelers. The city of Schwedt / Oder is 15min away by car, 1/2 an hour by bike, or 1 hour on foot. There's a railway station with trains to Berlin every hour (every two hours on Sundays). We can pick you up at the station for 15 euros per journey. IMPORTANT: the accommodation is not suitable for children under 4 years old. Situated on the bank of the Oder, Zaton Dolna is a old fisherman's village. It consists today of 25 houses surrounded by forest. The village is within the zone of the Cedynia landscape park and in the « Natura 2000 » zone incorporating " The Valley of love ", an historic park which hosts very beautiful musical matinees and soirees amongst the immense trees. On the other side of the river, the German national park " Unteres Odertal " is particularly reccommended for hikes, cycling, canoeing or on foot. There are 2 small café-restaurants. The nearest shops are a few kilometers away. The nearest train station is in Schwedt (8km). The city of Schwedt / Oder is 15min away by car, 1/2 an hour by bike, or 1 hour on foot. We can pick you up at the station for 15 euros per journey. - We offer a breakfast buffet for 9 € / person (0.5 € / year for children: ex: 4 years = 2 €) - A kitchen tent (from April to October) next to the house allows you to cook and/or barbecue. At your disposal: crockery, sink for washing up, tea towel, sponge, washing-up liquid, gas cooker, fridge, oil, vinegar, salt. We ask for a contribution of 5€/day for the use of the kitchen (choice for the whole stay). - In the village, friends who run a rolling restaurant can cook delicious take-away meals (also vegetarian or vegan) for you, on request.
