There are various lakes and tracks around site to enjoy many outdoor activities. Lots of open areas for kids to enjoy as well as a large activity area next to the restaurant. The Lakeside Bar/Restaurant offers quality food & drinks with stunning views across the lake together with a glorious sun terrace perfect for relaxing. Free lake access for unmotorised craft. Full access to full home including garden seating and BBQ Lovely picturesque country park with plenty of space to explore and enjoy. Various fishing lakes offering a range of fish. Some of the main lakes are as follows: Everglades lake homes approximately 90-100 Carp up to around 40lb along with many other species. Clearwater Lake has a wide range of fish including some large pike, carp, tench, bream etc. Carp up to 41 lbs and Pike up to 28lbs! Tetley’s holds some really nice large carp around 20-35lb. Tetley’s is quite a difficult lake to fish due to its many features and not over stocked. A good catch on Tetley’s would be a memorable one! The match pond is much more widely available for all ages and experiences. It holds many species of fish from roach, tench, F1’s, rudd a need carp ranging from around 3lb-20lb. Butchers, Co-Op, Bakery, Chippy, Cafe’s and Takeaway’s in the local village Crowle. 15 minute walk via footbridge over the river or 5 minute drive. Things to explore off site: Yorkshire Wildlife Park (20 mins drive) Hirst Priory Golf Club (2 mins drive) Doncaster Dome (20 mins drive) Cleethorpes Sea side (30 mins drive) Easy to drive, cycle or walk around site. 10mph speed limit for safety. There is 1 car parking space available directly next to the home with additional parking bays 50m away or at reception. Note: We do not charge a cleaning fee as we hope guests are happy to clean with products provided under the sink. Bed Linen and Towels can be provided.
