Single room, lovely location

Our place is close to the Harry Potter Studios and a 25 minute train ride to London Euston. Surrounded by Hertfordshire countryside, it is good for solo adventurers or business travellers. A furnished room with single bed in quiet location, overlooking fields. The room is upstairs, with shared bathroom. Downstairs there is a shower room, little used by the family, and shared kitchen/utility area. There is off street parking and use of a large garden with patio and seating area. The fields visible from the room were used for filming some of the Harry Potter scenes. For months we had a clear view of Hagrid's house. The Quidditch final was played here too. Night bus scenes were filmed in the local streets and the road in which the Dursley's house lies is in the neighbourhood. You have your own lockable room with use of a shared bathroom upstairs, shower room downstairs, kitchen and garden room. There is plenty of parking space and the garden/patio is available for guest use. There is a radio, alarm clock and hair dryer in the room for your use. An iron is available on request. We also have undercover bicycle storage and plenty of car parking. There is tea and coffee available in the kitchen. We are around much of the time but are quite happy if guests want to keep to themselves. Surrounded by gorgeous Hertfordshire countryside, the Harry Potter studios (with current film sets visible from the house) and close links to London. Watford Junction is 15 minutes away by car/bus and then 20 minutes to Euston (Central London) or 35 minutes to Clapham Junction (South London). There is also the local village station, Kings Langley, which is a 15 minute walk and then 25 minutes to London. Harry Potter Studios is 1 mile (25 minute walk) up the road, the Leavesden studio sets are visible from the house. Please note there are 3 cats in the house. The cats do not go in the guest room unless invited in. We have hens at the very end of the garden who provide lovely fresh eggs. You can buy the eggs at 30p each. Some of the floors are wood or tile, so cold to the feet. You might want to bring slippers.
