Train station with direct trains to London Other listing www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) l This is the first of our two listings. - The flat is UPSTAIRS with own private entry and is self-contained. - Front door is on the ground floor, with a single flight of stairs leading up to a spacious landing and hallway, with the bedroom, bathroom and living room coming off it. - Simply and tastefully decorated and a high level of cleanliness is maintained. - LIVING ROOM - has a sofa that converts to a sofabed (which is a small double). - Open plan living space and kitchen. - KITCHEN - is well equiped to prepare and cook a family meal. (Kitchen has hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils). - BEDROOM - has one standard double bed with a good quality comfy mattress. - USING THE SOFA BED *NOTE* Please let us know if you will need to use the sofabed, so the bedding for it may be prepared & left out for you, (as well as the instructions). The flat can sleep up to 4 as the following:- 2 adults + 2 young children OR 3 adults OR 2 adults + 1 teen (This is because the very comfortable sofa bed is a small double and not ideal for 2 adults to share.) A single thick foam fold-out floor bed can be added for a child, if preferred - (please let us know). - TRAVEL COT - can be provided. NOTE: we are NOT able to provide bedding for the cot. The flat has its own entrance and its own parking space (one). Additional sets of bedding and towels for long stays! BREAKFAST This is not included as part of the price, as we view it as a gesture to guests. For all stays we aim to make your first few mornings as easy as possible so we leave you basics to make yourself breakfast. Unless specifically requested, any of the following combinations will be selected by ourselves. For stays up to 2 nights some of the following items may be left: - cereal & milk - porridge pots - fruit For stays up to 7 nights additional items might also be left such as: - bread & condiments - bread & eggs As a guide we will not provide enough for 2 people staying any more than 2 nights. There will always be Tea, Coffee and 1 carton of milk. Hosts live nearby and in most situations can be available if needed at the drop of a hat. We have found that because everything about the flat is so convenient guests rarely have any issues or need to contact us. Situated in one of the four residential areas considered Central Milton Keynes. It has better access to the train station than most other "central" flats on Airbnb (17min walk or 3 min taxi) Located on the central Boulevard and a frequently used route to local shops by mums with kids and students from the nearby college and 6th form. Local shops 1 minute away with Lidl and Tesco express as well as 3 pizza take-aways & recommended indian restaurant. Nearby gyms. Allocated (free) parking spot for the flat on the drive for one car. Virtually everything in MK is within 10 minute drive TAXIS: If you are getting a taxi on your own the cheapest option is a Via van. We try to ensure the cupboards also have some other basics like cooking oil, herbal teas, porridge, squash, bag of pasta etc. We trust guests to use what they need from the cupboards. BEDLINEN & TOWELS We leave extra bedding and towels for longer stays, so you do not need to wash them. **NOTE: We prefer to wash the bedlinen and towels ourselves. WASHING MACHINE & DRYER You can use the washing machine and dryer. We will leave a couple of capsules for the machine. Please be mindful and considerate of washing machine use in relation to length and rate of your stay. HEATING - ELECTRIC RADIATORS The flat is heated by electric radiators - with sensors - so if a window or door is left open for a duration the radiators will go into standby mode! The radiators will already be turned on for you before your check-in and are programmed for your stay. Please let us know if you require any adjustments to it or if heating is not needed you can easily turn them off at the wall. ❗DO NOT place items of clothing on the radiators or cover them!!! HOT WATER There is a continuous supply of hot water and plenty for a whole family to shower throughout the day. OTHER When you have little ones with you, please LET US KNOW if the STAIRGATE is needed, which we can pop on easily at the top of the stairs. There is a TRAVEL COT available - UPON REQUEST - but bedding for the travel cot is NOT provided. FRONT DOOR We have a Smart doorbell. It is in place in case you are locked out without a phone to contact us.
