Enjoy a stay at our 1864 Federal style home in Granville. We are just blocks from Denison University, the Buxton and Granville Inn, and a system of bike paths. We are only a few miles from the newly renovated Cherry Valley Hotel and Newark Earthworks Great Circle Indian Mound, 25 minutes from Cols John Glen International Airport, and 35 minutes from downtown Columbus. My husband and I are Covid19 vaccinated, and are taking extra care to clean and sanitize your space and social distance. There is a comfortable double bed with mattress topper on it. This bedroom is right across the hall from your private bathroom. We have a bedroom with two twin beds right next to the room with a double bed. We don’t rent this extra room out separately—only to people renting the double bed bedroom who are bringing additional friends/family and need additional space. This extra room rents for an additional $25/night per person. There is an mini fridge available. You will be given a key to the back door of the home, and may come and go as you wish. You will park out front and walk up driveway. Come through deer fence and read instructions on back door. You will enter into the kitchen, walk thru the dining room and head up the back private staircase to access your room with a double bed. It is right across the hall from your private bathroom. We will leave a key by the back door with detailed instructions to minimize face-to-face contact. We welcome you with open arms but will practice social distancing and encourage you to ask questions and converse with us at a safe distance. I will be happy to offer any advice on restaurants, or answer any questions you may have during your stay while observing proper social distancing. We live in the quaint Village of Granville, only a few blocks from Denison University. Granville has little shops and several restaurants, the Granville Inn and Buxton Inn and grocery. We are about a six-minute drive from the newly renovated Cherry Valley Hotel that offers mid size conventions/events. We are only 25 minutes from the Columbus John Glen International Airport and 40 minutes from downtown Columbus. Granville has a nice Farmers Market from May thru October on Saturday mornings from 8:30 to noon and is just off the bike path. We are only a few blocks from Denison University, the Village shops, several restaurants, and a grocery store. You can uber/taxi out from the airport and get by without a car if you are visiting Denison or staying in the Village of Granville. Many of our guests choose to park their car out front and walk uptown, especially if they plan on having “adult beverages,” as Granville police will give out DUIs Also parking is sometimes a little challenging uptown, so I usually just walk so I don't have to worry about finding a place. My husband and I have a five-year-old hypoallergenic labradoodle named Cooper. We are careful to gate him in a room far away from your private guest area. He sleeps at night in our bedroom , and is very quiet once he goes “nite nite." He may, however, bark some during the day as he see you come and go.
