The studio is located directly on the beach. Remarkable view of the beach and the korinthian gulf. Airconditioning and a fireplace, fully equiped kitchen and other useful appliances. The studio is equipped with children protecting mechanisms. Towels, sheets, shampoo, showergel, toilet paper are provided. The studio is located directly on the beach which is not easily accessible from the road, creating a feeling of privacy. The terrace has a remarkable view of the beach and the korinthian gulf. An umbrella, a folding bed as well as tables and chairs are provided to create the desired atmosphere of each guest. It can be used all year round, as it has airconditioning and a fireplace. It has a fully equiped kitchen (incl.microwave, kettle) and other useful appliances like hairdryer, iron, radio-cd player. The studio is equipped with children protecting mechanisms on several drawers and cupboards if needed. The terrace is equipped with a child-protecting gate to avoid small children leaving the house without the presence of an adult. Towels, sheets, shampoo, showergel, toilet paper are provided. There is a bakery and a kiosk around the corner, where you can have breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. There is a mini market about 500m away and the nearest supermarket about 5km. The nearest restaurant is about 300m away. We strongly recommend Zoi's "Καφενείο Ζωής Αλεξοπούλου" for souvlaki and a beautiful garden situated in Ano Melissi and "ΕΛΛΑΣ" restaurant at Diminio for great meat dishes (call for reservations!). "Rouvera"restaurant in Xylokastro offers more international dishes and the villa of the Greek poet Sikelianos in "Sikyon Beach Hotel" offers exclusive cuisine in a very romantic atmosphere (call for reservations!). Several beach bars, restaurants are situated in the nearby area of Melissi, Diminio, Sykia, Xylokastro and Kiato leaving all tastes satisfied. Other places of interest in the nearby area are the ancient theater of Epidaurus (60km) Ancient Korinthian Acropolis (28km), Ancient Olympia (104km) the mountain villages and ski resorts of Mainalo (60km), Trikala (20km) and Kalavryta (50km) or the lakes of Stymfalia (28km), Tsivlou (40km) and Doxa (38km) with the famous villages of Dimitsana and Stemnitsa (70km) Zarouchla and Feneo (37km) etc. During the summer there are several happenings in the nearby areas so have a look in the webpages of each Dimos (Municipality) to find out more. The stairs to the beach are used by all floor guests. We are always available to answer any questions relating to the accomodation as well as the area either by phone or in person. Very friendly and helpful neighbours. Very peaceful in low season. There is a bakery and a kiosk around the corner, where you can have breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. You can use the bus to be transferred in the nearby towns of Xylokastro or Kiato. The bus stop is just 20 meters away. The road is along the seaside so using the bicycle as transfer or fitness is nice. Using the car offers more flexibility in visiting other less accessible or more distant places of interest like Epidaurus, Stymfalia, Ancient Olympia, the mountain villages of Mainalo, Trikala and Kalavryta (ski resorts) or the lakes of Tsivlou and Doxa with the famous villages of Zarouchla, Feneo etc. The water of Melissi is NOT drinkable so you will have to buy bottles of water to drink. These can be bought just 20m away from the studio, from the gas station, the kiosk or the bakery. Toilet paper should NOT be thrown in the toilet because of the use of electrical waste pump.
