We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: o We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob o We use cleaners and disinfectants and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination o We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists o We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay o We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines Our home is a large 5-bedroom detached residence with 3 rooms that we let out on Airbnb only. As you can see from the photos our home is very modern, tastefully decorated and is kept immaculately clean. You will have access to the ground floor only, which has a fantastic kitchen/dining room to use, and a fabulous south facing sunroom to the rear of the property that leads out to a patio area and large garden. There is Sky and Netflix TV in the room and in the sunroom for guests to enjoy. Smart Home Technologies - 32" LG HD LED SmartTV - Sky and Netflix - App-controlled heating thermostat This bedroom has a shared bathroom across the hall. Toiletries supplied - soap, shampoo & conditioner and shower gel. Continental breakfast is provided which consists of the following: - Tea, coffee and sugar - Milk - Selection of cereals such as fruit and fibre, shreddies or cheerios - Toast with strawberry jam, marmalade and butter - Chocolate croissants Ample off street parking available on our private driveway. You have full access to the ground floor of our house and the substantial outdoor areas which have lighting too. The luxury open plan kitchen/dining area is available to use and has all integrated appliances including a dedicated guest fridge and an American fridge freezer (with water and ice dispenser) for storing frozen food. Shampoo and body wash will usually be provided for you to use, or you can bring your own. Fresh towels are provided and plenty will always be available for you to use. We are happy for you to use things like cooking oil, toilet and kitchen roll, cleaning and wash products that I already have in the house to save you buying your own. All we ask is that if you are staying for more than a few days or you are using a lot of our items then please replace what you have used. If I’m around I will greet you on arrival. If not I will provide you with lock box instructions a few days prior to your arrival. Located in the village of South Hylton with local amenities minutes away, includes convenience stores, hairdressers, cafes and pubs. Ideal for outdoor activities with the River Wear and Trails taking you to Penshaw Monument, Herrington Park and a Wildlife Park. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families (with kids). Metro station 2 mins away with a direct link into Sunderland 9 mins, Newcastle City Centre 40 mins, Newcastle Airport 1 hour. There are also bus stations 2 - 5 mins away for local buses into and around Sunderland. House Rules - Smoking permitted outside only. - No shoes to be worn inside the house. - Please report any damages/breakages to the items in the house to us. All we ask is that you keep the place relatively clean and tidy – just as you would in your own home.
