Cosy private studio flat

Cosy studio with comfy Ikea bed, fully fitted kitchen including washing machine, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is free wifi and a free view TV with DVD player. There is also full central heating. The studio is in a beautiful rural location well away from the house. So visitors may come and go as they please. There is ample parking directly in front of the studio. We are 10 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station. The studio is set in a beautiful Oxfordshire village in the grounds of an historic Georgian house. There are many lovely walks straight from your front door along the Thames path or onto the Clumps the site of an Iron Age fort. The pretty towns of Abingdon, Wallingford and Dorchester are all only a few minutes drive away. The historic university city of Oxford is 15-20 minutes drive. In the village, you will find a traditional British pub serving great food with a riverside setting. There is also a fantastic Indian restaurant and bar. All major supermarkets are within 10 minutes drive as is Didcot Parkway mainline station. Private access to the studio which is on the ground floor and is not part of the main house. Ample parking on the private drive outside the studio. Possible use of grass tennis court during the summer months weather permitting. I will always do my best to personally welcome guests. But as a busy mum, I may not always be at home when guests wish to arrive. In which case I will either leave a key in a prearranged place or guests will be met by another member of my family or a neighbour. I can always be reached by text or email. The village is very quaint and people are very friendly and approachable. There is a pub by the river and an Indian restaurant with a bar and outdoor seating in summer. All major supermarkets can be found within 10 minutes drive at Didcot, Wallingford, Abingdon and Oxford. There is a small shop and post office in the next village. The best way to get around here is by car or bike. There are some nice bike rides locally through many old villages including an off road cycle path to Didcot.
