Come relax, spend some time and make memories at our beautifully renovated, lakefront home on the eastern shores of Lake Hopatcong. Conveniently located 10 minutes from Route 80 and only 30 minutes from Mountain Creek. With a modern interior, open living space, and your own private dock. Enjoy the lake with our complimentary two paddle boards, two kayaks and a canoe. We are minutes away from all there is to do on Lake Hopatcong, you'll be longing to extend your stay at the lake. Our two bedroom, one bathroom 950 square foot lake house provides plenty of space for a group of up to six to get to enjoy lakefront living. Wake up early, brew some coffee and walk out to your own private dock to watch the sunrise or stay up late visiting the seven different bars and restaurants on Lake Hopatcong. If you'd like to stay home and cook in, you can prepare a delicious meal in our well appointed kitchen, with a Weber grill outside on the patio. With brand new mattresses you'll be sure to get a great night sleep waking up ready to get back outside and explore the four mile hike to Liffy Island and back from just down the road. Our home offers easy private parking for three cars, with a flat lawn and easy access to the dock and lake along with minimal stairs for elderly guests or folks who have challenges with walking. Guests will have access to the washer and dryer in the basement. There are three parking spots available. We are available by a text or phone call if you need anything during your stay Our lakehouse is in a great neighborhood where you can walk down the road to Prospect Point Park, where you'll find a walking trail to a wooden bridge over to Liffy Island. There are mountain biking trails nestled within Prospect Point park as well. When you're hungry for a quick bite, you can walk down to Little Nicki's Restaurant for delicious, large portioned Italian food. On your walk to Little Nicki's stop in at Tiny's Tavern, a shot and beer dive bar with some serious character. Across the channel from our lake house is Lakeview Marina, where you can take lessons on how to waterski, wakeboard, wakesurf or to get towed around on a tube for a few hours. Lakeview Marina also offer rental pontoon boats, chartered fishing, and more. For getting around by water, Lake Hopatcong has its own water taxi that will pick you up and take you to the many different destinations that the lake has to offer. Directly across from our lake front home is a marina where you can rent a pontoon boat, or take waterski and wakeboarding lessons, go tubing. Take the walk or run to Liffy Island, or take a jog on the five mile loop around the Woodport section of the lake enjoying the challenging hills and great views of the lake. WINTER BOOKINGS RELATED TO SNOW: We do have someone who comes to the house to do snow and ice removal BUT they are not able to be at the home 24 hours a day as the snow falls. We provide multiple shovels, and calcium to melt the snow and ice in the driveway with the expectation that if you need to get out of the driveway in an immediate manner while its snowing, that you plan to do so yourself.
