Palmerston Lodge at Vatcher’s Farm, New Forest

A very warm welcome to Palmerston Lodge, a much loved property in the village of Bransgore. Made of cob it is typical of the New Forest. It remains cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The property benefits from underfloor heating and is wonderfully light and airy. Boasting 1 bedroom, there is plenty of space for a cot to bed arrangement and there is also a full sized desk should you need to work. This cottage makes the perfect holiday home for a couple or special family gathering. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling. Staying here allows you access to the private garden and patio. There is a double hammock and BBQ from which you can enjoy stunning views. As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a microwave. We do stock essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, crudités and cooking oil and there is always fresh milk in the fridge. The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a television and internet access. There is one bedroom in this cottage which contains a super king bed and more than enough room for a travel cot or cot to bed. There is additional sleeping space in the cottage, comprising a large sofa that can be made up as a bed. There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a bath with a shower over it. Linen, towels, essential toiletries, a hair dryer, clothes airer and an iron and ironing board are all included to make your stay more enjoyable. Palmerston Lodge is situated between 10 and 20 minutes from the South Coast’s award winning beaches and the surrounding area has something for everyone: stately homes, New Forest water park, paddle boarding, sailing, fishing, pony trekking, cycle hire with maps to guide you through the forest to wonderful pubs!
