Authentic Cottage in the Belgian Ardennes

Fully renovated Ardennes Farm in where modern comfort is combined with the typical Ardenne character. The farm is situated on 5500 m2 of own land with fruit trees and a vegetable garden that offers you a open view over the surrounding pastures. The entire farm is at the disposition of our guests. They can make use of the whole "corps de logis" that is made up of a large living room, seperate room with open fire, large kitchen, three spacious bedrooms and a modern and large bathroom with bath and shower. The house is suitable for a maximum of 7 adults. There are two king-sized beds, one seperate single bed that can be put in either room, a two sleaper bunk bed and two smaller beds, one kot and a smaller bed for kids up to ten years old. You will have acces to the whole house except for a part of the stables and the attic. In that part of the stables that you have acces to you will find a.o. a table tennis table, BBQ set, games etc. We prefer to use e-mail for contact with our guests but can always be reached by phone when needed. In general we react quickly. We live in the Netherlands but have a local manager / housekeeper. The farm is located deep in the Belgian Ardennes close to the Luxemburg border. In WW II the famous Battle of the Bulge was fought in this area. From the backside of the house you have a magnificent 180 degrees view over the pastures around the village. Boeur is the perfect place for outdoor sports like MTB and canoeing, trips, walking or just relaxing far from the stressfull world. Boeur is a hamlet with only 30 houses situated close to Houffalize, Bastogne and Luxemburg. Car: The house is situated 10 minutes from the Houffalize motorway junction on the E25 between Liege and Luxemburg. Bus from Liege Guillemin train station to Houffalize takes 1h20min. Car to Houffalize to pick up takes 10 min, see (URL HIDDEN) - WiFi is available in the house. - Midweek rentals only with a minimum of three nights - Rental during the Christmas holidays only for a full week - Guests have to bring their own (kitchen/bath) towels as well as their own bed linen. There are enough duvets (1 & 2 persons) as well as pillows available in the house. - Bed- & bathlinnen can be rented against a fee of 10 Euro per guest per stay if ordered in advance.
