Sjónarhóll, Cozy vacation home in the craters

my house is warm and cozy 3 small bedrooms, two with one queen size ,(160 cm) bed and one with a dbl, 140 cm bed. the house is very well equipped with towels, bedding, cooking ware and bathroom appliances. Kitchenette (comes with essentials for making simple meals, it has pleanty of pots, pans, tools, plates and glasses. A dishwasher ,stove, microwave ,oven and out door BBQ. large living room. Bathroom with shower. The bedrooms are very small (6-7 sqm) and simple but the beds are new and comfortable double beds (twin is not an option) Outdoor BBQ and furniture. Simple breakfast is provided. ( serial, buisquits , butter, jam, dried fruits, coffee, tea, hot chocolate powder as well as oil and spices for cooking. We offer washing laundry for our guests for a small fee. Guests have total privacy but we live nearby and can be available to guest with in a short time. We know the whole area very well and can recommend further travel and hikes in the area as well as the Vatnajökull National park. Endless hiking opportunities and nature nearby. Village Kirkjubæjarklaustur (5 km) has convenient store, restaurant, tourist information center, church, healthcare clinic, and other common services . Endless hiking and road trip oportunities. Organized highland tours including day trips to the Laki area and glacier trips. At nearby Hotel Laki (1,5 km) guests can buy meals including a great breakfast buffet at Restaurant Crater.
