Beautiful country house w/ cedar hot tub

Escape the city to this beautiful house in the country with all the amenities. A great place for a weekend getaway with friends, hikes, working from home with dependable and fast internet and workstations, or for small town explorations. This house has all the amenities you'll need to stay in and cook - grill, spices, olive oil, etc., and coffee to wake up to. Take in beautiful nature with tons of trailheads and swimming holes just 5-15 minutes away at Mohonk Preserve or Minnewaska State Park . Just a 2 hour trip north from NYC, and accessible by car, and train or bus + a short taxi/Lyft ride. Stroll through tons of cute small towns just 10 minutes away, including New Paltz, Stone Ridge, High Falls, Rosendale, and Accord. Or take kids to nearby farms, visit breweries and wineries, and tons of good antique shopping. Or stay put, cook a big meal with friends, have some drinks in the backyard by the fire pit, soak in the cedar hot tub (with robes for everyone in the bedroom closets), take a nice bubble bath in a clawfoot tub with a view, or work remotely - comfortably with dependable and blazing fast internet, a desk, a large table for multiple laptops, and some great records on the record player. The house is on a dead end street with neighbors further away, so there is plenty of privacy. The lot across the street is ours too - so feel free to park next to the red garage. We are at the base of Mohonk Mountain, so there is plenty of nature/hikes/swimming just minutes from the house. If you don't have a car, Lyft is available, along with a number of local cab companies. Nearby towns and activities are very close by. There is no door to the upstairs master bedroom, just a long staircase that leads upstairs. Note that this entrance is 22 inches wide, so those with more girth will need to say in the lower 2 bedrooms. There is a projector you can stream movies from your phone or laptop to. Also, please note that the house has pets stay from time to time. After bookings, the houses are very thoroughly cleaned, but people with very sensitive allergies to dogs should probably avoid booking. Apologies, we only allow dogs here - no cats as they've clawed our furniture in the past. The following kitchen appliances are available: Mini waffle maker, charcoal grill, oven, Dutch oven, cast iron skillet, pots and pans, sharp knives, salad spinner, cookie tray, pie dish, teapot, coffee machine, popcorn maker, Instapot, food processor, fridge/freezer, juicer, filtered water pitcher, wine decanter.
