Enjoy the peaceful village life from your own apartment. Escape crowds and tourists without being isolated. The apartment is recently renovated and fully furnished, complete with a full kitchen, bathroom, living and dining area, and bedroom with double bed. From our quiet village of Eyrarbakki, you can enjoy the northern lights in the winter or the endless sunsets in the summer. The apartment is just steps away from the seaside. Though you can't see it until you get atop the seawall behind the building, you can hear its roar and breathe the fresh sea air. From here, you are close to many of Iceland's most famous attractions, including the Golden Circle, the Blue Lagoon and other hot springs, Reykjavík, and many famous and lesser-known waterfalls, all less than 1 hours' drive away. Or, enjoy your time in the village with visits to the local museums and the excellent restaurants, or ride Icelandic horses on the beach. You can also kayak, ride an ATV/four-wheeler or RIB boat. In summer, enjoy birdwatching at the Flói bird reserve. There is plenty to keep you busy! The apartment itself has hardwood floors and simple Scandinavian design, decorated by photographs of Icelandic landscapes for inspiration. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: full-size refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee, tea and sugar.
