Nice cottage 4km from Cesis city center

The cottage is located in Gauja National Park territory, just next to Cesis city. While it gives you a remote feeling, the city center is just 4 km away. It is perfect for a small vacation for couples, families and / or friends. It has everything you need for your stay (simple stove, fridge, dishes, shower etc.). Please note there are no private rooms. Also it's possible to enjoy sauna. The cottage is 10 min walking distance from Gauja river (can rent boats there) & "Cirulisi" walking trails. The 1st floor is the main living area - a common space (basic kitchen place, couch that is also used for sleeping, chairs, table), sauna, bathroom and WC. Sauna is available, it just should be agreed in advance. 2nd floor is used for sleeping only. Currently there is 1 sofa and some mattresses. Entrance is via outside - its not connected with the main floor indoors. Outside there is a small terrace - perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. In summer you can also use the barbecue. You can take a refreshing morning or after-sauna dip in the pond next to the cottage. In most of the cases those will be my parents whom you will meet in person. They are the owners & live nearb by so they are available in case you have any questions or needs. It's 4-5 km from city center. At the same time it's less than 5 min (walking distance) from two skiing resorts Zagarkalns and Ozolkalns, where during winter you can enjoy winter sports, but in summer - go to adventure park, rent boats etc. To get here from Cesis city center you can: - come by a car (5-7 min) - take public transport & then walk for 10-15 min - take a taxi (it will cost you 5-7 EUR) - bike by bicycle for +/- 20 min; you can rent bikes in the city center (velo rental "Eži") We have some dogs and cats that live nearby - they may greet you on your arrival just in order to become friends. :)
