Adjacent to the century old Sibley Mill in an urban setting yet with the reassuring sound of the train passing thru each evening. Our home is casually elegant and comfortable and it’s an exceptional retreat close to downtown and provides superb access to the city. We are also within close proximity to Lake Olmstead, the Savannah Rapids and Augusta Canal, great for enjoying the outdoors. We love our little house and you will too! Our shotgun house is located in the heart of Augusta and has 11’ ceilings throughout with a spacious king size bed, full bath, full kitchen with custom concrete countertops, a front porch sitting area and sacious back yard. We offer a 50" flat screen smart TV and a small library , and board games. The kitchen comes equipped with full size refrigerator and stove, coffee maker, utensils, plates cups, etc. The home is centrally located within the city allowing access to the highway within minutes, access to biking trails and the canal for kayaking or just a wuick ride to downtowns restuarants and bars. Also, we are within 5 minute driving (1.4 miles) distance to the downtown entertainment and business areas, within 10 minutes (3.3 miles) from the Augusta National Golf Club (The Masters), and within 28 minutes (12.7 miles) from Fort Gordon Army Installation. Our neighborhood is quaint and comfortable and if you are here for business or pleasure, we welcome you as our guest.
