This studio room is located in the semi-basement of a beautiful 1904 home on the lake walk. The house is centrally located, nearby to downtown Bemidji and Bemidji State University. The semi-basement has been remodeled to reflect the back-country northern Minnesota style, and has its separate entry and lock. The brand new supportive bed ensures you a restful night of sleep. This cozy room is equipped with a sitting area as well as a kitchenette. Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. This studio room is quite cozy. The sitting area is furnished with a pair of chairs, and an end table. The kitchenette is equipped with a kitchen sink, a microwave, a mini fridge and a coffee pot. There are dishwares and silverwares in the kitchen cabinet, and a lounging chair, desk and chair to dine or work on. The private bathroom is just across the laundry room on the left, equipped with shower essentials and completely to yourself. Though located in our house, other than some noise that transfers from floor to ceiling, this studio room feels like a place all to yourself. This is one of the two rooms we rent out in the basement. You are welcomed to use the laundry room. Bathroom is the one on the left hand side, closer to the washer. We are a busy family with small children, so we can't always be around to check you in or out, but we do love to interact whenever we can! At the very least we will definitely make local recommendations, and we are always available to answer any questions in person or via texts. A quiet and scenic neighborhood on the lake walk with very little vehicle traffic. It is upscale and safe, located just off of Bemidji Ave./Highway 196. You will find quietness on this one-way street, but also liveliness being only a few blocks from Downtown Bemidji and Bemidji State University. Our lakeside house offers convenient access to three parks, beaches, many restaurants, grocery stores, libraries, Bemidji Tourist and Visitor Center, and the unforgettable statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, which is one of the most visited sites in Minnesota. This is a safe space in a family-friendly neighborhood. There might be children’s noises transferred through the ceiling. We might have guests in the unit next to you at the same time. The host is fluent in English and in Mandarin Chinese. Effectively immediately, our nightly rate will include a 3% lodging tax collected for the city of Bemidji.
