Welcome to the Duck's Nest @ Furzton Lake! Offering you a comfy, cosy stay at our modern self-contained annex with key safe and private entrance. Whilst here, you can enjoy wifi, free parking and just over the road, you'll find Furzton Lake with its fabulous walks and beautiful scenery. Ideal for both business and leisure stays, short or longer term; a welcoming alternative stay to hotel accommodation. A brand new annex featuring a comfortable double bed, separate living area with smart tv featuring Netflix and all Freeview channels. Our space includes a kitchenette with fridge, mini oven, 2-ring hob, microwave and all cutlery and crockery supplied. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits await you. There some complimentary breakfast bits for your first morning. The bedroom features a comfy double bed with a memory-topped mattress and built-in wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom contains an electric shower, heated towel rail, toilet and hand basin. Towels, toilet rolls and basic toiletries are provided. Whilst you can enjoy complete privacy, your hosts are just across the way and are happy to assist you, provide local information, useful tips and hints to make the most of your stay. Furzton Lake is considered one of the finest outdoor spaces in Milton Keynes with bicycle rental nearby. The 2 km lakeside walk is a lovely distraction on your doorstep if you want to get away from it all. A 10 minute walk from us is the National Bowl where concerts and events are often held. Also a short walk away you'll find local pubs and restaurants including The Old Beams and The Hungry Horse. Takeaway options and a small supermarket and Off-Licence are also a 3 minute walk. The Duck's Nest is perfectly situated between Milton Keynes Central and Bletchley Rail stations, which are just a 5 minute drive away. Trains from here will whisk you into central London in just 35 minutes. If you want to stay local, a bus service is on your doorstep or a taxi will take you to the world-famous Centre:MK with all its shops, restaurants, cinemas and other amenities including the Xscape indoor ski slope and indoor sky diving. Further afield you'll find Silverstone Race Circuit, Woburn Abbey & Safari Park, both a 20 minute drive from The Duck's Nest.
