The Pool House

A secluded pool house with private pool in its own private garden set in the Chiltern Hills of Hertfordshire, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The property sits in an unshared private garden, with its own swimming pool. It is private from the main house which is approximately 50 metres away. There is a gate that leads straight onto footpath for some great walks. Through a gate from the drive, you will have the private garden and the Pool House all to yourself and your guest. I will be available on arrival and otherwise contactable during guest stay, either at the main house or by mobile. The property is approximately 3 miles from Berkhamsted, down a private country lane. The local village of Wigginton (2 miles away) has a charming shop which serves breakfast and lunches. Nearby towns are Tring, Amersham and Wendover. Berkhamsted is a busy market town featuring dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars and an impressive twice weekly market. The historic "Full Moon" pub in Cholesbury, is a 25 minute walk and features excellent beer, open fire and good food. Champneys Health Resort is a 10 minute walk away. Perfectly located for walkers interested in "The Ridgeway". It is very near Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and a little further away are the Harry Potter studios which makes a great day out. The property is extremely dog friendly as it has its own enclosed garden as well as a paddock next to it to let your dog free. There are no roads and there are a choice of footpaths where you can let your dog off the lead. Trains from Berkhamsted run every 15-20 minutes to London Euston, with a travel time of 35 minutes. A 24/7 local taxi service is available. The Pool House has wooden floors and rugs. In the Winter months it would be advisable to bring slippers/socks.
