Quiet cottage in private domain with forest

This recently renovated cottage is located in a character property bordered by meadows and a private forest. Completely quiet, with the 18th century manor house inhabited by the owners as its only neighborhood, it is perfect for recharging your batteries in the heart of nature. In summer, the terrace overlooking the countryside without vis-à-vis is very pleasant for a barbecue. In winter, have a good time around the fireplace. You can walk in the forest and observe the deer and birds. The cottage has been recently renovated, the shower room was refurbished in May 2021 and much of the furniture is new. Wifi connection is for free, upgraded in December 21 with optic fiber connection. On the ground floor you will find: ● a large dining kitchen with a large farm table and modern equipment: large fridge, oven, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, ... ● a bathroom with WC and washer-dryer ● a large living room with an insert fireplace ● a terrace with garden furniture, large parasol, Weber barbecue and chairs long Upstairs : ● a first bedroom with a double bed and a fold-out sofa bed to make an additional bed, connecting to the other two rooms ● a new shower room with a walk-in shower, toilet and double sink ● a second bedroom with a double bed The accommodation is particularly suitable for a family with children or for two couples with small children. The cottage is in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, a 2 hour drive from Paris. The charming village of Orbec is 4km away with all local shops. The lodging is independent and entirely reserved for visitors. The garden in front of the gîte is reserved for visitors to the gîte. The manor garden, the outbuildings (workshop, barn) as well as the horse meadows are not accessible to visitors. The private forest is accessible, you are simply asked to respect the place. The closest station is Bernay (1h30 from Paris Saint-Lazare). For outings: ● Lisieux and Livarot are 25 minutes away ● Cerza Zoo is 30 minutes away ● Cabourg, Deauville and Honfleur are 1 hour away ● Many local producers of cheese, cider and Calvados organize tours It is possible to accommodate your horse (s) / horses in one of the estate's meadows, directly in front of the cottage.
