This beautifully presented spacious self contained apartment set in Chiltern Hills woodland provides very comfortable accommodation for those choosing to have peace and quiet. Provided is a fully fitted kitchen, sitting room Bath shower room and well presented room with bedroom double bed and hanging space. There is excellent WIFI and a small gym with a running machine and weights is available for us. An area directly outside provides bench seating for enjoying the fresh virus free air ! The guests have access to an on-site gym (time to be arranged in advance) complete with running machine, weights, weights bench and other fitness accessories. Keys and entry will be left by arrangement and we note that privacy and discretion for us of importance. We are available to meet you on arrival and tell you everything there is to know and do and any other nuances if required. Texts on problems are answered within a very short time from receipt as these go to several family members who act as quickly as possible. The locale is an area of great natural beauty with many miles of public footpath walks and cycle rides through beautiful wooded and agricultural land included a famous butterfly reserve. All are well marked and accessed literally 50 mtrs from the main roadside entry gates. There are nature reserves close by within walking distance and the ancient Roman road/path of Icknield Way runs past Chinnor village. The local village of Chinnor has a petrol station , Co-op supermarket , local butcher, pharmacy, bakers, corner convenience shop and proper post office with Cash machine. Thame, the filming location for Midsummer Murder, is located just 6 miles away with restaurants, cafe bars and shops catering to all. West Wycombe situated 5 miles away is a historic village and largely a National Trust property being the site of West Wycombe Park, West Wycombe Caves and the Mausoleum on top of West Wycombe Hill. The Mausoleum and Golden Ball above West Wycombe village are impressive local landmarks, visually dominating the village and local landscape for miles surrounding. West Wycombe Park, Caves, Mausoleum and St Lawrence's Church were all constructed in the mid-18th century by Sir Francis Dashwood, founder of the Dilettanti Society and co-founder of the notorious Hellfire Club. The mainline railway station of Princes Risborough with taxi service is just 10 minutes away. Oxford by car is normally 30 minutes and London Marble Arch by car 50 minutes. There are Stagecoach bus services from J6 on the M40 to Oxford and London This is a non smoking environment.
