This unique duplex apartment forms part of a converted Victorian School built in 1856 in the village of Willingham near Cambridge. The conversion has been carried out sympathetically using traditional methods and reclaimed materials were possible. The interior of the apartment is light and airy and decorated in neutral tones with quality fixtures and fittings. The ground floor comprises an entrance hall, downstairs cloakroom with WC and WHB, fully fitted kitchen including Bosch oven, hob, extractor, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine and a lounge with corner window overlooking the courtyard. Staircase leading to first floor which comprises double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Loading and offloading of vehicles can be carried out immediately next to the front entrance door of the property and although no parking is available onsite, parking is available in the road adjacent to the property. There are good public transport links into Cambridge via bus or the guided busway located a short distance away. We are always on hand to offer advice for our guests. Willingham is a thriving village located around 9 miles from the City of Cambridge accessible by car in around 20 minutes or alternatively by public transport. There are various convenience stores including a Co-Op Supermarket and a Post Office a short walk away as well as 3 public houses, a fish and chip takeaway and an Indian restaurant. The Cambridge busway links Huntingdon, St Ives and Cambridge and is reputed to be the longest busway in the world! The nearest stop is a 15 minute walk from the property.
