Comfortable guest unit!
Welcome! You stay in a comfortable private guest unit on the 1st floor of our home on a quiet location in the countryside. You can use the private car park and covered bike parking. There is no kitchen, but you do have a microwave oven, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle. Coffee + tea for free. Additional charge of €15/night (payable at departure) if you want separate rooms if you are with two . Ideal for city trips, cyclists, motorcyclists, hikers, professional purposes...! The guest unit has its own private entrance (lockable) and includes two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a breakfast room. The rooms are wonderfully quiet with a beautiful view and each with a comfortable queen-size bed. You have a private bathroom at your disposal with bath, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bed linen are provided. In the breakfast room you find a refrigerator, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle, and also crockery and cutlery. Coffee, tea, sugar and milkpowder are for free at your disposal. There is a table with four chairs which provide a comfortable place to sit and/or eat. A nice breakfast is available on request at €10 pp. Furthermore you have your own private seat in the garden to enjoy and a barbecue available on request. You have access to the hall, your private unit on the first floor and the garden. I am always willing to help you with whatever questions you may have! There are beautiful cycling routes in the surrounding area, and our house is near several bicycle hubs, so an ideal starting point for your trips. At 1 km is the new golf course Wase Golf where you are welcome as an avid golfer, but it is also possible to follow an initiation. 6 Holes now, 18 planned for the future. Within walking distance (less than 1 km on a nice walking/bicycle path) you find brewery The Musketeers where you can taste Belgian specialty beers (Troubadour) and/or have a good meal. It is possible to visit the brewery by appointment. The nearby Stropersbossen (3 km) and Clingse Bossen (7 km) are ideal for beautiful walks and there are routes for mountain bikers. Art lovers will find Verbeke Foundation on a 15' bike ride (5' by car). Worth your while! You can also lunch there or just have a drink in the bar or on the terrace. Het Verdronken Land Van Saeftinghe (drowned land of Saeftinghe) is an impressive nature reserve on the border between Belgium and The Netherlands. You can visit this on your own or on a guided tour. There are several good restaurants in the vicinity. Train station Sint-Niklaas at 10 km. Bus stop at 800 m., routes 41/43. Supermarket and various shops at 2 km.
